Can you measure the headlight and or take any numbers off it for me pleeeaaassseee!

I am gonna buy a 250R headlight assembly for my SX and I need to figure out if my light will work in it.

Measure it how like width and height?

the width is 11.5" and the height is 8.5" These are rough measurments but are close with in a 1/4"!

Thanks what I am looking for is the dimensions of the headlight itself. I need to see if I can take the light out of my SX shroud and put it in the 250R shroud.

I couldnt find it on hyper parts....

I have an old 85R shell laying here, and the inside measures 17 1/2". This is the hole inside the shell (opening the lense would sit in). Hope this is some help.

Do you mean 7.5"? 17" is a big 'ol headlight :wondering

5 1/4" x 4" is the opening of where the actual light sits!

no.

I measured around the inside of the square opening for the lense (all the way around).

I figure he is asking if the lense, off of the SX, will fit into the R shell. So if he measures around his SX lense he will be able to tell.
I would have measured around the R lense, but I didn't have a spare one handy.

DANG!

My SX lense is larger than that opening.....:cry:

How hard is it to get a 250R lense? Are they special or hard to find? I would think my bulb would go in.

cool I will check it out... Maier cover, new lense and 2 more rubber straps.

Am I forgetting anything?

On a side note just to vent yesterday cracked the front fender again in the snow and tonight the rear fender!!! Hopefully thats it!
