Here are some pictures. you can see that the bike isn't in the greatest shape, but not too bad, i think. The picture of the carb is a brand new cheapie i bought off of ebay for $20. It is a direct fit. The only differences are that the choke is lever operated and the gas tank kinda gets in the way of the lever(as seen in pics), it has no petcock, and the air/fuel screw is on the right side instead of the left. Not bad for a generic $20 carb. I also have a picture of my new fuel line - petcock setup. Also, i have a patch for my exhaust spark arrestor tip thing. it's good as new!(almost). I also have a video of the thing running, how can i upload a video??

Man, the 125 was the third bike I owned. I loved that thing. I had never had a key before and electric start. I was in my glee. Plus it was the first 4 stroke I ever had. Had no problems with the carb running? Better than a rebuild kit for that price forsure.

You would have to upload the video to a site. I use putfile and photobucket. Load then up and link them to this page.

The carb was basically a direct fit, but i found that it ran better if i moved the clip on the throttle needle down one notch to richen the mix a little bit. also, the stock throttle cable needed to be shortened maybe.... half a cm. what i did was inside the thumb throttle, i just wrapped the cable around the inner lever/arm thing once - after doing that, i got the idea of just putting a few tiny washers right above the carb on the throttle cable, that should work too.

I had a 125m for a while, it was a fun lil hardtail. Weird thing about it was shifting was backwards, I.E. to up shift, you stepped down, & to down shift you stepped up. Were they all like that?

mine's like that. it's too weird, i also ride a motorcycle - it shifts normal and has clutch, for work, i ride a honda rancher, that shifts normal with no clutch... i've pulled on the brake lever for the rancher before thinking it was the clutch and i've pushed up before on the trike thinking i was upshifting.... it's all very confusing!

im pretty my 125 m shifts normally? ...to shift up you lift the lever up and to shift down you push the lever down..

This is a video of my bike running. I took out the battery, so i used the pull start, but the starter works fine. Let me know what you guys think, does it sound bad?? there is a little smoke from the tailpipe, is it bad?? thanks!

84 125M was down to upshift, 85 and up were up to upshift. This goes for all the Honda auto clutch bikes.

I can't tell in the pics, but if you're not running a fuel filter, you need to.

Looks pretty good to me, looks like a lotta fun.

if you look on the pictures of the left side, where the carb is, you'll see that i have a "bowl" type fuel filter that supposedly is better for rusty tanks or something. anyways, i do have a filter on it, that would just be silly not to!
