TRI-Z carb main jet

hi, somebody can help me, i have a Z 86 with original exaust and DG pipe, the main jet in MIKUNI carb is #310. If i put a DG exaust, should change the main jet....and if the response is yes, witch i should put in?

go down one jet size at a time, I would get 300-270 and start with the 300 doing plug chops with a new plug,, till it a nice brown paper bag color

any place that sells mikuni Large hex style....there only a few bucks a piece
