at the end of a day of riding i was looking over thing as usual and i noticed that the male part of the suction hose popped out. Has this ever happened to anyone else. What did you use to fix this problem? thanks for the help!

Well, never happened to me. But, it just push it back in. You can try and scuffing male end lightly, and using a bit of locktite to hold it. Or for a permanent fix, thread and install a automotive style vacuum port fitting. Just don't let shavings drop into transfer. May have to remove cylinder to be safe. Your tolerance fit is likely not as tight as it should be.

i did push it back in but its loose enough to vibrate back out on its own. I was thinking some kind of high temp. appoxy would work?

yeah, just use some jb weld or marine tex.
put some on the nipple and push the fitting over it, then put some around the area near the cylinder so you can bond the cylinder, nipple, and fitting together and youll be all set.

yeah, epoxy would be a good fix. And if you get bored or ever take your exhaust off, you can use the high temp rtv silicone around the exhaust flange to keep it from leaking and spitting oil on everything ;) Just let it cire for 24 hours and your all set

cool thanks guys, buy the way it didnt cause it to stop running just cut out a bit and idlesd funny.
Yeah I have had this happen 2 times. When they shoot completely out, they rev to the moon.LOL
I take a center punch, and peen the end of the fitting to give it a flange, then I Jb weld it and tap it back in the jug. Then I take a flat chisle and lightly peen the jug around the port.Let it set in a warm area for 48 hours and it should hold.
Be very very careful peening the jug, they are brittle castings.
I agree with TecateZ,that actually threading a fitting in is the best way to go,but If you dont want to pull your jug,the epoxy option will hold for a while.

Mine did this exact thing today!!! The bike acted like it was starving for fuel at first and then started revving very high so I had to kill it by stalling it in first.
