CDI and COIL HELP! PLEASE!

I have a 225 Dx the motor is pooched, so got a 200 for it. Will the CDI and the coil work on the 200 or gave to get new ones?

The 225 motor is shaft drive, and some of the 200's are chain drive. To me, More info is needed to cross check interchangeability.

The pulser on the 200 motor is compatible with the CDI already on the 225.
However, the parts list shows different part numbers for the CDI units.

Now Automator (PHil)..

so I am guessing its worth a try then right?? the engines look soo identical too! Except for the shift output.. I think I need to swap some parts?

My biggest worry is putting this 200 engine in and not getting it to fire..

ANYONE ELSE.. I WANT TO DO THE MOTOR SWAP TOMARROW But dont want to if its a waste of my time..
