What machine does this front end belong to ? Tecate maybe?

I bought a small batch of 350X parts and obviously the guy didn't have a clue what these were but listed them as 350X. I knew the wheel was not but he gave me that, forks were bubble wrapped (sort of strange?) so I could not get a good look at them and I picked them up, why the heck would you wrap them?? Maybe that was his :twisted: plan ? :lol:

I want to sell them but need to know exact machine/year and how much fork oil goes in them?

Both forks had just a hair under 4oz, seals were a bit oily but usually if they are leaking each one has a different amount in.

Seems like 84-85 Tecate to me but the wheel and hub spokes seem different, much nicer actually, so I'm confused on this matter.

The tire is a Dunlop 25X8X12 and has a good healthy 75% at least of tread left, could this be the stock tire yet ?

Definately not Tecate. I would say something Yamaha, because of the Yamaha style cable loop. But I'm not sure what.

Yea, I think I'm wrong now on the tecate possibly, because they have dual bolts on the top clamp.

What's a BW 200, a Yamaha Big Wheel " motorcycle " ?

Jason,I was going to do a frame up 350X build but since more then 1/2 the parts that were supposed to be 350X are not, I decided to help Chris out and get rid of the stuff and completely abandon the 350X project.

All I have left is a Maiers rear fender and a stock (to my surprise) front fender.

Chris, get a white tank for cheap and you could have two color schemes :naughty: White IS easy to take care of too, you simply put clear vinyl over the areas that dirt gets ground in from leg/boot area. I had plenty of white machines, really find it's no big deal to take care of and is actually the best color for scratches, you really can't see them well as opposed to other colors.

I should have just dropped the whole batch of parts off at your house and sign you up on Huffa's budget plan :D

OK. I still didn't get around to that broken peg mount bolt in frame, once I give it a try and hopefully succeed, I'll bring the stuff up.
