what do people prefer, twist or thumb throttles? and why? wondering if i should switch broken twist throttle back to thumb, but i am unsure, never ridden w/ a twist throttle.

this has been debated forever and even when done jokeingly it stirs up arguments. what it really comes down to is personal preferance. i can ride with both but prefure twist. for me it gives much more control over throttle response and is easier to handle when using your whole hand on the bars. some people feel they are to touchy. if you ride with a death grip that may be. personally i just got sick of jambing my thumb while hitting rough whoop sections/tree logs/roots or on large jump landings. some will argue you can't hang way off the side of your trike to turn. well if your hanging that far off your trike then your doing it for showmanship. anyway, ride with what you feel is best and safe for you.

I've ridden thumb so much the twist just doesn't feel right.
