I am not a big fan of painted plastics... but its not hard to remove it... I would trade a DR200 for just about anything... Sounds like a deal..

I have an 84 that i converted into a trike. The only thing that sucks is the parts avail. This year doesnt have many parts that will interchange with other years. I wish mine was like an 85-87 since there is a lot of parts for them around cheap.

ok, ill trade it then. i was pretty sure it was a good deal, just wanted to make sure. Are the 83-84 CR125s know for anything breaking, defects, or anything going wrong with them? thanks.
EDIT: I read somewhere that the 84 cr125 is liquid cooled, is this true?

The 84 was a good year, my step brother had one for 16 years and never had any major problems. That year had good solid power too, fairly broad powerband for a 125.

How much you looking to spend for one and how much did that one go for?

well, i was looking to trade my 1987 dr200 (http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=78300) for that, because my x is eating up all my money with the restore/rebuild. or when i sell my dr, i would give that money for one. why, do you want to sell one, or know someone who wants to sell one? if you or someone you know has one for sale/trade let me know.

the guy had it listed for $600, trade for quad, 3 wheeler, or go cart, so i dont know? heres the link http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/539176357.html

Looking at it, 600 was too much, more in the 400 range I'd say.

Anyways, I'm from your area and let you know if I see a fairly nice one for a reasonable deal.

I just bought an 87, just posted it a few hors ago on here.

Sounds like it has been just your luck.

I've owned a (new)'86 RM250, a (new)'93 WR500, a well worn '82 CR480, and currently have a '92 KX250 and have had experiences that seem to differ from yours. I would trust even the old CR480 I just sold over a brand new 250F or 450F any day, but then the new 4-strokes(especially the 250's) really are expensive time bombs ticking.....but that's an apples-to-oranges observation.
