Here's the '85 Dirt Wheels article for the Tecate 250.
And, an extra racing photo of a KXT.
I couldn't get the photo's to load in the other thread so I had to start a new one.

I believe all 84-87 t-3's were made there. Both of my 85's have the USA decal. My buddies 86 was also made there. But Kawasaki, like Harley Davidson, should really say "assembled in USA from globally sourced parts". Kawasaki to this day assembles lots of on and off road bikes and atv's there.

Tons! I've got every issue of Dirt Wheels I bought as a kid. Some of the ones I didn't get as a kid I've been buying on e-bay.
Got a lot of issues of 3 Wheeling also.
Some of the oldest ones got water damage when I got married to my first wife ( she put them in the garage when she was cleaning the house one day, I found them 6 months later). I was thinking of scanning them all and putting them on disk.

It would be sweet to have all those old mags on a disc. Good way to preserve them too.

Said 85 Tecate had new carb, pipe, swingarm, and ignition. Also stronger/higher footpegs. Never knew that.
Cool post.

If you scanned them and put them on a disk, I would buy a disk from you.
