I have a 83 200es motor that needs a piston, i was going to get a semi cheap Namura piston but after calling i found out they were discontinued and my only option is a wiseco, which is quite a bit more money. So... should i take my main trike, a 84 200m, take its piston out, swap it into the es, and put the wiseco piston into the 200m, or would it be better to take out the 200m motor and replace it with the es, then id have hi and low gear engine with a wiseco piston in it. Im not sure what to do, so what would YOU do?

ive already got it orders, wiseco piston kit, inclided rings, piston c clips, and the little rod that holds the piston to the connecting rod, (forget the name) for $114 can. which come to think of it isnt all that bad.
Now, if i get this engine running good would you put it into the 200m frame? Or is the 200m motor better?

I would put it in the 200m... Low range is sweet...

I'll get it running and check out the tranny to see if it slips any, if not im leaning toward putting it in the 200m:w00t: , but, heres another idea...
:wondering What if i mounted it into the 250r roller and put a smaller sprocket on the axle... that would mean more speed, and if i wanted to do some thing that required more lower end, i could switch it into low gear, i think that would be pretty slick:naughty: Any input on that idea?

Put it into the 250R roller, just don't hack up the frame.
Once you've Had your fun, it can always be retro fitted with a real donk.
