Went out to the local cycle salvage today to look at and probably buy a 84 atc70 (cheaper to by the whole bike than parts for my 79) Anyway i was on my way in and noticed a 200X sitting out front. It had broken plastic, bad seat no front fender and a flat front tire, but after looking a litlle closer it was all there! I looked in the tank and there is no rust, bearings are good, decent flat trakkers on the rear, factory wheels, and a Coffman Silencer. Long story Short I gave up on my 70 project and traded my 79 ATC70, Trail pro rear tires, some factory 83 250R gold wheels and $275 for a 1985 ATC200X.

Now it does need some work. It has the kickstart slippage that is listed on another thread today coincadently, the headpipe was cut in half, and the plastic and seat cover are junk.

I was told by the guy at the salvage that they had it running, but with no exhaust not long.

Here are pictures of my new project.
