Just joined a few days ago. This site is awesome, its inspired me to pull the old 86 Z out and give her another shot at life. It's been in storage for the last five years & it's time to bring her back out.
Anyone know where to get red fenders? Or is anybody else interested in going in on a custom order from Maier?
man ! newbs comming out o the woodwork!!! awesome!!! nice z man!! welcome to the site!

More like nice Z. Why would you keep that thing locked away like a red headed step child? Get her out, clean out the cob webs and let her fly! Anyways :welcome: :TrikesOwn
Welcome to the board!
Looks like it will clean up nicely.

She's bored 10 over, ported & polished, DG pipe & silencer, Works rear susp., Durablue 2+2 axle, lonestar sprocket hub, uni filter, eng skid off a KTM, barnett clutch, +2 teeth in the rear, etc.
The reasons I put it away? Riding areas are few & far b/t, tickets are pricey, parts are pricey and hard to find, and most of all Uncle Sam Aint Released Me Yet!

The skid was actually off of my friend's 98 KTM 380, it's a DG baja designs. It required very minor modification to fit, it's not perfect, but close enough and has served its purpose more than once.
The last pic is of how I eliminated the T-stat. It's a 3-way I got off of that same KTM. not sure of the part #, put I think it's common on a few of the KTM's (250/300/380) from 98 to I think 02. It was a no mod bolt in.
