Tri-Z front tire options

Need a new tire for the front of my tri-z. I've been looking for a Dunlop KT646M with no luck so far. I would like to stick with the 25x8-12 but may switch to the 23x8-12 if absolutely neccesary. I don't want a mud terrain tire which seems like the only thing I can find in this size. So what are my options? I've see the maxxis pro front (I thnik that's right), but the extra large gaps in the tread make me a little leary about some of the places I ride. I think I may have gotten one of the dunlop tires lined up, hafta wait and see...
But any other info is still appreciated, I like to learn :D
