Here is one of the projects I have been working on for the last 2 months or so. I’m just 2 wheels (the hardest part!) away from finishing it. I made a R1 about 2 years ago and figured I would try the YZF this time. I have about 40 hours into it thus far. Has anyone else built one of these?
If this is your first time seeing a Paper Craft model you can google it, also check this link, they have the best selection I have seen… http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/global/entertainment/papercraft/realistic/index.html

Well I finished it up the other night, I still don't know the best way to make the tires but they stilll came out ok. I think it's time to look for a better camera.

You can't just print it out on regular paper can you?? It seems to be a bit thicker paper when they are curling it etc....

They suggest using heavy paper, I used regular paper for the R1 and it worked ok, the YZ I used a little heavier paper (24 lb. I think) and it worked fine as well. Maybe using the thicker paper would help with the tires.
