This was brought up last year and nothing came of it. How many people would be interested in have a TT event at TF this year. If there is enough people and there are no compaints from the higher ups at TF I would be willing to cordinate this event. I will be arriving Wednesday sometime so that should give me enough time to get things going. If anyone is interested in this reply to this thread and say what machine you would be running and lets see how this works out. For those of you who set other events up give me a shout and let me know what I have to do to make this happen.

Im interested Johnny.

I would most likely use my Tri-Z, or T3 depending on my mood at the given time. :postwhore

I also plan to get there around Tuesday, so you can get plenty of help from me setting the track up between my 12 oz curls. :beer

I think it could take place next to or behind the drag stip. Yeah I plan on working on the curls also. I guess I will have to wait until the TF cordiantors read this and tell me what to do. I would be willing to call haspin acres and see what could be done.

I wonder if the poker run group would be interested in some help laying out the course, make it a 2 or 3 lap event and use the same course markers.
Might be an easy way to use the markers more than once, plus help for 2 events working together.

back in the day, there was a t.t. track built where the parking for the hairscrambles is now. I am talking 1986-87. Directly behind the showers. That might be a decent place. its flat and plenty of room. Just need to find someone willing to donate their time to run a piece of equipment to build a couple mild jumps. back then Jim ran things, he is the guy with the limp who now collects your gate money. Damn I'm really showing my age here!
