Ok You Guys With Extended Swingers, do you lengthen your grab bar to compensate for you swinger?? My swingarm is long enough that if the front end comes over, the bike ends up coming all the way over since the grab bar isn't long enough to catch it anymore. Ends up taking out my rear fenders, handlebars, expensive kill switch, brake rezy. and gas tank. I need some cheap insurance for coming over backwards. Plus I cant stand it up to transport or store it securely. I mean I coul put a block of wood under it, but come on, thats really not the point.
I thought about getting a six-pack rack for it, and also those grabbars that extend the full width of the bike....does anyone know what they are called and/or how much they weigh??
Thanks

I think the reason people stick extended swingers on their machine is to use the grab bar less (less chance of flipping over). I think the machine would look wonky with a long grab bar on it, and it might give it more leverage to bend your frame.

Never thought about the frame bending thing. Good point.
Maybe its time for a longer swinger then:naughty:
Nah, I like the one I have.

If you want a bent subframe get a six-pack rack... If you dont wheelie once in a while the swinger is way too long... Wheelies= traction...
