B.S. U fill in the rest of the letters.
INtake valves are often sealed where exhaust are not, because the exhaust side is positive pressure.
If the valve was bent, was the seat ground/lapped and guide checked for damage? BOTH valves needed to be checked.
"Smokes on a shift" may be excess fuel or a leaky intake valve guide, the intake vacuum goes way high and if the seal is leaky, it can suck oil in.

both intake and exhaust use seals ....but i thought you had a valve job done?
and all gasket kits come with new valve seals......are you saying you reuse the old seals?

I mean this in the nicest way possible, neither of them should be touching motors. Start off with some small stuff and work you way up. I also advise people to read a whole service manual front to back. As a matter of fact, it's some of the only reading I truly enjoy.....

i rebuld one warrior motor, one 302, one 350, and one 351 pusshing around 700 or 800 hourse power. and all of them run right its this one. thats causing me proublems. and im not related to james, and i cant find a manal for my trike around hear. i thank some of my valve might be bent causeing the valve guide seals to wear out fast. caus the first time i went to redo the bike i didnt take the motor out and forsed the valve springs down they bent inwared from the frame and i didnt replace the valve guide. on one of the valve that was bent thoudands of and inch.
