I recently picked up a 1984 200e,Big Red. It's hard to find parts for the 200e model. Whats the difference between the 200e, 200s, 200m, 200es? are any of their parts interchangeable? The trike runs pretty good, but since its been sitting for a long time, theres alot of rust in the gas tank. I seen one on e-bay thats a plastic replacement. any advice on putting on a plastic tank? I probably wont get a chance to ride much so I was figuring plastic might be the way to go. Any help is greatly appreciated !

Many parts will interchange and some won't. You may want to ask about certain parts that you need. The plastic tank will work fine but they tend to fade in color after time.

The 200x was a sport version, and was pretty different, other than that, here is a list, by year, of each of the 200cc honda ATCs.
If you can't read the xls file (excel) open the htm file with Firefox or Internet Explorer.
This should be a start.

Welcome to 3 Wheeler World! :welcome:
First off finding parts for a '84 atc 200e will be tuff since it was never made. The 200e was made in 1982 and 1983; the 200es replaced it in 1984. Is your trike chain or shaft drive? The 200e is chain drive where the 200es is shaft drive (and has reverse).
As for parts interchangeability, the 200e, 200es, and 200m share a lot of parts. The other 200 and 185 Honda models have various bits that swap over as well. Is there anything specifically you are having trouble finding?
I'm sure others with first hand experience will chime in about the plastic tank, I haven’t tried an aftermarket plastic tank (I don't care for the looks) but I do like the plastic tanks that came stock on the Yamaha trikes (they have a cover so they look better).
