I just got some US90 tires that are in good shape and was woundering what they are worth. I have seen a nice set of 3 tires go for over 1,000 dollars. but as low as $500.

I have 3 tires, all hold air. One is practically mint, no weather cracking and good tread, no broken tread. the other two have a little weather cracking (not alot though) and good tread and hold air.

what are they worth? $50-200 per tire?

just woundering cause I hope these can help get me some more $$ for my tecate project

Thanks
Tyler

Those are six wheeler tires, not US 90's. The 90's had a squiggle in the tread. Looked like a stretched out Z.

Look, everyone thinks these tires are worth a mint. What most people don't realize is that 99% of these tires are junk. There is a measurement around the outside of the tires while they are inflated to something like 3 pounds of air. If they are bigger than the measurement, they are junk or good for display purposes only, as in dangerous to ride. Very, very few of these tires meet that criteria. Most people overinflate the tires to the point where they actually start ripping apart the internal cording which is what gives the tires their strength. I'm at work and don't have the measurement in front of me, but it is listed in the old us90 manuals. Anyone that has paid big money for overinflated junk us90 tires is foolish. I know of 1 person that has nos us90 tires, and they are worth big money. Just please be careful what you buy and do your research. These overinflated, out of spec older tires are very dangerous. Please use them for display only. If you want to ride the older us90 trikes, get the adapters for the later model rims and tires. I like seeing the older tires on the 90s, but beware and don't ride on them if they are out of specs and don't let your friends ride on them. People and machinery can get hurt like this. Not trying to dash anyones hopes of putting their kids through college or making lots of money, but the people who collect these trikes know of these kinds of things, but alot of people don't. Be very careful.
