i was not even doing 10mph when she jumped out in fron of me. of course she just layed there and watched me inspect the damage. She finaly rann off when i stomped my feet at her. IF i would have had a gun i would be cleaning deer right now :ripped:

now if any of you have an old truck like this and you want to sell some parts let me know.

I think those square tube grills look good and they are fairly cheap.

What with the engine in that. That is far from a stock intake on a 81-87 Chevy. Do you own anything that is stock?

i like the stock grill. the truck is far from attractive no matter what you do to it

the engine is a 92 transam 305 TPI. i bought the complete engine and installed it.

Same exact thing happened to me last summer as i was trailering my boat to go fishing hit it at about 30mph and busted up my front end on the passenger side. Cost me 500 in parts and paint and did the repairs myself. Total pain in the arse.

Try getting some of those deer whistles that you mount to your vehicles. Supposedly they emit a noise that only wildlife can hear, which is supposed to scare them away before you even get there. As an added bonus, they are available in chrome, which makes a nice addition to any type of vehicle. ;)

:lol: That's the problem with new trucks... they're not "deer-proof". I swear, you could hit a HERD of deer with our old Ramcharger truck and it would maybe have a nick in the paint, or something.

When i was still in highschool the manager of the place that i worked at somehow managed to hit 4 (yes 4) deer on her way home one night. There were some body repairs but she still has the same old JEEP.

Hey 200x Basket, Do you have an LMC catalog? The headlight bezel assy is cheap money. The grilles arent quite so cheap, i have an extra grille but i know if i get rid of it ill need it!

Junkyards are easy places to get cheap old stuff like your headlight baskets, adjustment screws, and grill

i know i need to upgrade the intake but a TPI is a big upgrade comapred to the old motor.
