350x swinger ?

86 350x swinger ? what is the tab for ? its right next to the sproket. its welded on the top left rail. it is square with a whole cut out of it. it is oem.

I ground mine off.... No one seems to know what purpose it ever had but I can't find information anywhere.

I dont know but how about the parking brake guide? I dont think that the parking brake cable and the brake line uses the same guides. Not sure but it makes sense to me because the cable if i recall was run down the left side of the frame on my 85. I could be 100% wrong but oh well...

It's on the left side of the swinger, the P brake cable runs down the right. I honestly don't think anyone knows it's function. Even if you look at an OEM diagram, there is nothing show to mount there......

it does a good job as an anchor for a tie down.lol id still like to know more about this lil thing, it was placed there for some reason?

just a thought. maybe honda had plans for something else, but changed their plans at last minute and left the tab on their???
