Im getting a 85 200x tomorow and it comes with a ton of extra parts. Looks to be 2 botton ends, a complete crankshaft, couple heads, a cylinder, pistons, ect. Probably enough to build another engine. My question is what parts would be best to swap into a 84 200m. Is the head any different? I know the camshaft is different and i may swap it in. Im actually just as excited to go through the boxes of parts as i am the trike! If theres enough parts ill build another 200x engine and put it in the 200m...maybe :wondering .
Thanks:beer

The head is a popular mod, it flows much better than the 200M one. The whole cylinder is swappable with no modification, so you might wanna do that. The whole engine is also swappable with no mods.

Common mods to the 200M engine are cylinder, head, cam/valves, and carb.

what can i expect from doing these mods?

The 200X head is free-flowing compared to the utility head, so more power all over the place. The 200X carb is bigger stock, I believe, so that's more top-end power. The 200X engine has a manual clutch. 200X cam is better for revving. Also, they have stiffer springs and aftermarket cams for the 200X head.

Never done it myself, I'm just saying what I've read and heard.
