help find the "most dangerous vehcile video"

many of you knwo ive been looking for this video for quite a while. suspison is that one of the members on the site has it but thats neither here nore there. so upon calling/emailing and basicly harrassing any and every cbs station and affiliation im taking shots in the dark now. There is a few suggestions that member jakup and i had. If everyone would post a wanted ad or 2 on craigslist from where there from maybe just maybe we can scrounch up somthing. Also local libraries maybe be able to help out. it seems that cbs will be of no help in the situation. This video footage is a piece of 3 wheeler history and should be shared with the people and enthusiest that apresiate the culture and history of these wonderful machines.

Some where some one has a copy of this footage that hopefully they would be willing to share. Futher more ive beeen told by cbs that if such video was to be found that it would be ok to make a caopy of the video as long as it it not "sold" for profit.

Im a 3 wheeler atv enthusiest and im looking for this video. the video was called "The most dangerous vehicle" the producer of the episode was David Gelber. This episode was aired on 4/12/87 on cbs. I have contacted many cbs people to no avail. I know someone somewhere must have a copy of this episode. contact me threw email at kwit21@aol.com thank you very much

*the name of the episode was "The Most Dangerous Vehicle".
*the date that this episode aired was 4/12/87
* And of course it was aired on cbs
* I do belive that dan rathers was the spoksman (not 100%)
*The transcript for the video IS avalible however it is the footage what were after here.

Oh it definably exists, like chrisr200x said, we watched it up to raffa's ice race last weekend. I shot ChrisD a PM since he is the one with the Vid

I don't even remember the 60 minutes one. I could swear the one I saw was 20/20 with Barbara Walters.

I tried contacting ABC about purchasing a video transcript of that episode but no response. I think the phone is probably the way to go.

yep watched it on my own TV ..and it dont paint a pretty picture.. Im thinkin they went out to the dunes with a few kegs and said here ya go boys.. then filmed them..:rolleyes:

I was gonna say that in my earlier post Mr. Raffa. There's one part with some hillbilly's with no shirts or helmets drinkin beer and acting like idiots...

Totally a one sided story... and kinda gut wrenching to watch some parts imo.

OK guys - some one please get hold of ChrisD then. I have the ability to transfer it from VHS to DVD - but no way to burn copies fast once that is done.

Come one - let's pull our resources - us guys who have not seen it (since it aired - I have brief recollections) would really like to. Surely someone can get hold of Chris.
