do you really have a hard time keeping the front end down or something? i wouldnt think it would be.
also, an extended swinger will make it now quite so nimble.

I agree with 300rman that on a 200x an extended swinger would be less than desirable. Unless you weigh 90lbs soaking wet, I wouldn't do it.

Now, with that being said, I see you are from Ohio. Down here in Bucyrus, we have a guy that does expert swinger extensions for around $100. He has done dozens for the guys around here and does great work.

mine is extended 4 inches and sits 55 inches wide and it turns just fine on pavement.
it needs a little bigger area but not as much as people say it does. i did my own and i ran a rail on the inside of the swinger the whole length. ive jumped it over snow banks and minor hills and not one crack/break has appeared. but ill agree i wouldnt extend the swinger if you are doing allot of jumping with it. the swinger could bend and so on. what ever you decide ....i wish you good luck.

i would say go for it. i have thought about doing the same to my x. i have rode x's with extended "rears" and they are a little more slower on the turns but not a big difference. i would definetly make the rear wider as well to make it more stable and i wouldnt think of going more than 3 to 4 inches max. and dont try it until you have a spare stock swinger on hand because you might not like it. because it is a little more rougher on tight trails. i thought about going 3 inches back and 4 inches wider.
