Do louder pipes make you faster?

... Just wanted to know in case I was missing something .... maybe the sonic waves generated by a 110db open exhaust will "push" out the back of the stinger with such force that it will propel your quad or trike forward like some giant supersonic holy fart.

Sure it makes you go faster, because when you make enemies of all your neighbors, and tick of local law enforcement by being obnoxious and inconsiderate, you best stay moving fast enough to keep from getting your arse kicked!

Last I knew. more noise=less backpressure less backpressure=less horse power . I think I'll keep my stock exaust on the blaster,that way it'll keep its stealthy ability when I'm someplace I shouldnt be.
