lol, the cr80 looks to be in quite good condition, soon as i get some cash ima go tester out. what i want a bike for is mostly hill climbs, rainbows and jumping. And IMO the cr80 MX bike would do that a bit better, im just not sure about quality of a 2 stroke compaired to a 4 stroke.

I had a 2001 xr 100 and i broked 3 rims in like 2 years justs by doing normal jumps. They are not the best thing for hill climbs too but they have very good motors, never had engines problems with it...

the xr is great for trails ,if you want to climb the 80 will smoke it ,and I mean that once you learn how to clutch the 80 (when it starts to bog hold the throttle open hit the clutch let the motor hit the power band then release and let the tire roost)thats what gets you up the hills as well as the suspension is nothing similar the xr isint really made to jump big ....I just got a xt350 it is great for dual purpose but it cant even touch what my yz250 does in both suspension and power, very similar comparison for you to ....

The CR80 will blow away the XR in terms of jumping. It's actually got decent suspension, the XR100 stuff is like kiddy-bike toy shocks when compared to it. However, the CR is also a high-strung 2 stroke while the XR is a tame 4-stroke and will probably last you less, not to mention the fact that it burns like 4 times more gas.
Also, what the hell is a "rainbow"?

Well Id sell you my '91 CR80 for 600, but Im quite a ways away. I'd definitely go with the 80, 2-strokes have a lower operating cost and have way less maintenance, in most cases 4-strokes are way more expensive to rebuild but just a mello 100 would last quite awhile. I quarantee you if you ride them both youll find that with the powerband the 80 would be way more fun and besides thats actually an mx bike so its made for jumping and their very reliable.

If you get one of those bikes and need a factory original Honda service manual I have some for sale. Let me know if you need one.
