Just wondered if there were any tractor fanatics in here, from garden tractors to the big stuff. I have been and always will be... from my start on a John Deere pedal tractor.
Ill try to post some pics up in a little bit, but as of right now I have a Gilson-Wards 16, 70 John Deere, Massey Ferguson 10, Bolens Husky 1053, and a John Deere 165.

we have a fairly large collection of farmalls from the mid 30's to the 50's+. Wev'e got a few f-20's, M's, super m, wd-9, super h, B, super c, 400, 450, and im sure a few more im not thinking of right now. Quite a few of them run and work on the farm sometimes daily, and only a couple of them are painted up. I do a little antique tractor pulling with a 1940 M farmall, usually pulling from 4500-5500 lb classes. Heres a couple pics of me pulling last summer.

Awesome tractors guys, forgot to get pics today but Ill try and grab a couple tomorrow. Im probably going to be doing a restore on the little 70, and a couple things to the MF10 as well. Wonder if you guys know of any places that make repro decal kits for the smaller stuff? I would like to have some made for the 70.

Wow nice machines guys, sandpuppi and brapp, especially love the deere's, I'm a big fan of the old 2 cylinders. My dad brother and I are restoring our John Deere LA I'll have to put a few pics of it up sometime. We also have a 1966 John Deere 1010, a 2510 with the loader and ROPS, and a 1970 JD 1520. My dad has a 59 International 350 Utility, and I just got a Massey Ferguson 35 Deluxe, needs a new head gasket and some wiring work but its not too bad, again pics when I get em.

Oh and I just picked up an old John Deere 2 cylinder engine out of a combine for $20, running :) Lookin for an unstyled B, a GP, 435 or an R :naughty:

Hello all, I need your assistance if possible, I am compiling a website especially for tractor videos, to date I have gathered 386 individual farming tractor brands and I hope to document every agricultural tractor make and model ever made. I am especially looking for videos and images of rare oldtimer tractors, such as Graham Bradley, Fairbanks Morse or Massey-Harris. I can be contacted at the following email address admin (at) youtractor.com. Any content you provide will remain your property and you will be credited with it.

I look forward to hearing from you

At my highschool our FFA has a special FFA week every year, and one of the things we do is we all drive tractors to school one of the days and that happens to be tomorrow. I'll be driving our 2006 versatile 2425 4wd monster, 425hp. Its exactly like the one in the picture except the tires on ours are actually a little bit bigger. After school theres always a little parade of the tractors and we drive through town, and to be truthful im not sure how well i'll fit down mainstreet.

Growing up where I did, I have been around farming all my life, so I also love all the tractors from the western monsters to the classic lawn choppers. My father worked for JD for 34 years, from mechanic to service manager. My grandfather collected old JD poppers and at one time had an A, 2 Bs, an H, a 60 and a 420 narrow front. We still have the A and 420 today. Gramps also had a collection of JD merchandise and toy tractors that was valued at over $45,000.

My father currently has one each 1970/1971 JD 120 lawn tractors, one of which is still a daily user. At one time, pops was also a crew chief for a very successful 10,200 pro stock puller from around here and has two back to back titles from the Bowling Green Open Nationals back in the 70s. He was the first man to do something quite special with pulling tractors back in that time and that was what led to the titles.

My M is not a trailer queen but all things considered....AGE!!...i dont think its to bad. The paint is faded but she does not have much rust like alot of M's of this age do. Please post some pics of the Super M! I have a old farmer down the street and all he does is collect old Farmalls. Has a Huge garage with a lift and everything. He has one of EVERY model. M, Super M, MD, MDTA, Super H, H, Super C, C, Super A etc... He is a hell of a great guy. Retired farmer that buys old tractors, and restores them. He has an old Oil Pull to! Currently he has a 1066 split apart in his garage. Get some pics of the Super M. If it runs then who cares what it looks like!:w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

One more of the M. Brief story on it. Bought it for $400 bucks! Came with front end loader (trip bucket), 2 buckets, wheel weights and a few other goodies. I didnt even know the guy. I seen it sitting in a random yard, went over to the house and asked the guy about it. He said he would let it go for the right price. I asked him the lowest he would go and he said 400. I said 'sold!!'

Used to be. Back when I was 14 I wanted a go cart but I had those really loving but overcautious kinda parents.

They got me a 70's Sears Craftsman LT-10... and man did I love it! I rode that thing around the yard and woods so much I wore tracks everywhere.

I later put a bigger motor on it from the dump (14hp I think) and ATV tires from my friend's LT125.

I learned how to work on motors and mechanics on that thing. Lost a fingernail (don't touch spinning pulleys when they have belts on them) and lots of blood (all sorts of reasons lol) on that thing. Lots of fun though!

Though I got that go cart two years later I still loved the tractor.

I had welded up a 1974 CB360 motor to it and wired it all up with some straight pipes. Ran great but never made the jackshaft or anything to hook it up. Was going to do a straight axle with a gear on it... probably wouldn't be here today if I had finished it!

These are the only pics I have of it, after it sat nearly 10 years. I finally scraped it 3 or 4 years ago.

I've got a Craftsman lawn tractor that I've been playing around with a bit. Got it for free, not running, did a little work to it, and now I mow my lawn with it.
I had some pipe laying around, so I made a glass-pack style muffler for it (packed it with steel wool) and stuck that on. Sounds stock on idle, but it sounds awsome (for a 8hp briggs) when I give it a rev.

I'm not really big onto tractors but I do have a soft spot for my JD 316. My dad bought it new in late 87 or early 88 and I got to use it from new till the early 90s when I moved out. Now all these years later he gave it to me since it needed a fair bit of work and now I have it looking liek it did when he bought it.

"very cool crawler!!!! i really dig the old muck tractors. 4cyl gas?"
it's a combo. runner meaning it can run on gas to start and warm it up, then switch over to "tractor-fuels" kerosene, but I run it on gas only.
the "fuel-switch-lever" is located beneath both gauges(it's a kinda small lever)

My brother sells CEN*PE*CO Oils (Central Petrolium Co) He Sponcers quite a few BIGTIME ATPA Pullers.
He was the one that got the company involved in the series years ago. During the OTC Jamboree he bailed on me, so he could go to Bowling Green Ohio for the major side by side tractor pulls. I have a 18hp Twin Brigs in a Craftsman that sounds like a Harley at idol:lol:
