hey i've been working the kinks out of a 85 125m i recently purchased, i'm running it off of straight gas after i managed to burn the mixed gas the previous owner was feeding it out of the cylinder. I did put in a quart of 10 w 40 car oil which i now i ve heard can be bad for it but the problem is that i will start it up and it runs fine for about 5 minutes then the throttle sticks then it dies, it won't start back up then until i remove the spark plug and clean it, with the spark plug out i have to pull the crank start a few times to get it too start before i put the plug back in, it'll run maybe 2 more times that day 2 to 3 minutes then it'll all out not start no matter if i clean the plug of try to pull the crank. I pull the crank b/c it's acting like the carb is flooded, i do need a hotter spark plug and ive ordered on already but I don't understand why the engine won't crank period after it dies the 3rd time. I figured the constant on/off dieing just floods the crab after to much and so that would mean i just need to get the hotter plug in but i m no expert but putting car oil in the crankcase would be the problem would it? i just wanna be sure before i run it anymore. I won't no for sure till i get the hotter plug.
