Will a 97 Warrior engine fit in a 89 frame.

I would like to know if it would fit, with out a problem and run. I have a 89 warrior, with a blowen top end. And my brother has a 97 motor with a fresh top end. I was just wondering if the swap will work.

Yes, they are the same engine. Very little other than cosmetics changed on these machines over the years.

they are identical machines except for the headlights and the back up recoil starter on the earlier machines
