before i go looking for parts and buying used ones. what exactly can dealers still get for a 86 tecate? also where is a good place to get them?

Even if it IS listed on Bike Bandit, it may still be discontinued or subject to years of backorder waiting, but they will let you know the item status within a day or so of placing an order. You won't be charged for anything until a part ships out to you.

Yes, online is CONVENIENT but almost most NEVER correct.

I see you live in SE. WI. I have been buying stuff from MAC( Midwest Action Cycle) for ever. They are in Lake Geneva, WI. and carry Honda, Suzuki and Kawi. There is a place in Crystal Lake, IL, about 20 miles from MAC, that does all the local MX guys rebuilds and is some sort of genius from what I've been told. When I remember the name I will post it. I also might have a name of an old school Kawi guy that will hand build a pipe for you for about the same as the DG on Ebay. Good luck with your T 3.

yes i go to MAC in geneva. called them on rebuilding my front forks and rear shock. they say they can't do the rear shock because kawi discontinued the rebuild kit but as far as i know it's a standard shock to rebuild. when i take the suspension in i am giong to see what kind of parts they can get me.
