coal hill ride this friday 3/28

im coming to central pa this friday to ride in hazleton and trevorton . im thinking of bringing the mantis or my tri-z for this one, time for some hill climbing.ill be there at 9am til dark. anyone is welcome to ride .this ride is for 3/28/08

i would rather ride on the weekend when more can come out and ride, and we can see others besides us out riding on them hills, the buddy thats coming up me it is his only day he can do it (friday)
i am parking at the "hill" no later than 9am, i would like to go half the day at the hill in trevorton, and the other half up by chris's in hazleton
coal hill is located of i-81. you get off at the minersville exit rt901 west, i can meet you there(exit ramp) if you need to find the hill, its 30 minutes off the interstate

Chris you ridin trevorton or just hazelton? Will the dx be able to do treverton or is it all just giant hills?

the hills are steep and long as hell, like 1/4 mile to the top!!
but, there are eazy ways around it, i saw brapp take his 110 up the hill, so i know a 225 will do it. there is alot of flat non rocky wooded trails as well

I've never been there but the guys who have say there lots of other stuff to ride besides the hill. shoot I'd go just to check it out and take pics... besides Nathan says I can beat on the mantis for a while. :eek: :D :lol:

jason and mo, if you want be there at 8-8:30 am sharp, that will be fine. if you come out to play jason, please bring them ol' flat, hole filled tires you have for me.

like i said, IF theres going to be all day rain,i will come saturday, alilttle sprinkle i can deal with, dont want the mantis all gummed up with coal. meat over on bansheehq.com told me its dry at the hill(very dusty) and mud holes on the trails!

david,the wheels you got require a special wheel nut. the oem are too large to fit in the hole. good thing i have eight new ones here:w00t: or you would be running the slicks:lol:

took the mantis for a test ride and tire change today, its good to go for friday!

well if its just a lilttle shower here and there ill come, but all day rain, we wont drive three hours up there. sounds like i might have to bring the rhino if its going to be a bunch of mud from the rain

i'm gonan sit this one out guys the wastgate on my turbo is stickign and blows the intercooler lines off anythign over 1800 rpm so i can do a whoping 20mph lol
