Buy DCR on the amex,it goes up/or down 2X whatever the price of crude oil does. It is risky!!! If crude shoots to $111bbl for 3 consectutive days you will loose your invesment.
With the slowing economy, strenghtingnUS dollar I think crude will be @ $77 in 3-6mos before reversing.
If you dont like the idea of loosing all of your money buy DUG on the amex, another fund that shorts oil/gas stocks .
Just by trading oil 3x in the last 1 1/2 years I have an average return of 56%. *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* stocks!!!
Feel Free to shoot me a PM and I will walk you through it. Time to get out of oil and go short!!! You donot need alot of money to start, $500-1000 could be worth $1000-2000, by August if not sooner ,imeo
Dammit!

Are any of you guys playin the forex markets? I know that Jim (x.system) was for a while and he kind of got me into it. I quit when I lost 80k on a practice account in a day after I'd built up from 5k, oops
Just curious cause I heard the USD/JPY is the cheapest its been since about 1995, and I remember looking at the charts for that back when I was watching stuff and it was a HUGE drop from what it was at the time, 6-7x from what I can remember. Was thinking if it was that low now, might be a good time to buy some.

Built it up to 80K !!:w00t: take your original $$$$out and you would be set....
Sounds very interesting..... I am sticking with staying short oil, but you should try that trade you are talking about. It seems Like you understand it .
How about JP morgan now raising thier bid to $10 from $2...Man I feel bad for tose people who lost it all.....Keep in touch, even if you paper trade, I am curious.
I shorted oil first at $105, more at $107 , and the last gamble $ 110.50.
It is trading at $100.22 right now , down $1.16 today so far.
Looking for price target of $77

If you look at the traget price of stocks and buy and sell based on just that, you will go crazy. Did that erlier on in my stock buying/selling career (only been 3 years) and it drove me nuts how the outlook changes. I look into the stocks more then the target price. Not saying thats all you look at when buying stocks, just saying what my experience is with it.
Have you ever bought convertables (and not the car!!)? I have been reading about reverse convertables and they seem interesting.

can you buy those with options?
The options are already pricing a pretty big drop in the price of crude, Besides 98% of options expire worthless, the seller makes the $$.
If you can , just buy 100 shares of DCR on the AMEX. I feel once oil break s below $100 and stays there until a friday..look out below
Thatis what you want in this fund,Oil to go down.
Its funny ,they have a million ways to lose money now in the markets, no more just stocks and bonds
