85 tecate kicker gears

do you have to split the center cases to change the kicker gears on an 85 tecate? im pretty sure you do but i havent even looked at it yet. I dont want to drive 30 minutes to my dads house and climb up into the attic to check it out. looking at the schematic online it doesnt look like you have to though.. HMMM

At least that is what I gather from breifly reading thru the high lights of what to do with it.

yea john i just downloaded the tecate manual from DAMMIT's link and thats the conclusion i came to also. Thats one of the gaskets i got from ya too. AWESOME thanks a ton for the parts/help john.

no you can change the whole unit by just removing the clutch case cover. no need to split the cases. simple job as well.
