what are you guys running for a thumb throttle/cable on the 84-85 tecates? mines an 85 and i am definately getting rid of the twist throttle. Also does anyone ( like jeswinehart) have a pic of the headlight guard that mounts the headlight in the center of the forks rather than on top? thanks

i hate twist throttles on wheelers i use a 350x throttle on my 87 tecate3

i personally prefer thumb also on atv's, but as long as it runs and drives under its own power, im happy. i think this is the picture your looking for:

yupp, i think the other one i seen was just like that but didnt have the mesh on it.

i have a afterarket one that mounts to the upper forks and triples

hey disaster find a bayou 220 throtle housign and use a tecate-4 quad cable and problem soled for that.
