Glamis THIS weekend! April 4-6 ! ! ! ! ! !

Where: Glamis. Between wash 6 and 7 about 300 yards back from the road.

When: Friday morning April 4th through Sunday April 6th.

Who: Me and breastman569 for sure and most likely Mymint87 will be making a special appearance.

It looks like a friend & I will be heading out there on Thursday morning & we'll be there through Saturday afternoon. I'll keep an eye out for you crazy trikers!

I'm not very familiar with Glamis at all, but my friend is. He said something about camping on Gecko Rd. where they have some paved pads.

Ah gecko sucks. Too crowded. Much more space at the washes. It's clear on the other side of the dunes too so we could be there all weekend and not run into each other.

Aren't the washes a long ride to the dunes?

Not really. It's probably a little closer to Olds than gecko is but gecko is way closer to the strip. The main benefit is it's just easier to get groups together since people aren't packed in like sardines like they tend to be on the loop.

It only takes a couple minutes to get into the dunes from our usual spot (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8731974329764822513).
