I am running PJ1 gold fire Pro synthetic at 40:1. I have been thinking about going to 32:1 just to see some smoke :chuckle:
I ran some of the 40:1 in my lawn mower last week and it did not even smoke :wtf:

i run most things at 32:1 some at 20:1
at 20:1 they smoke pretty good but you have to take into account the more oil you mix the lower the octane gos so any more than enough is just a power loss

40:1 in my Banshee for the last couple years. No fouled plugs and no melted pistons, so it must be ok. :w00t:

50:1 Blue marble for me, have ran it as lean as a 100:1 when I was in a pinch and was running out of oil to mix up.

when i see a 2 stroke oil that says pre-mix only not for oil injection thats the kind i use ( Klotz Benol) if its that thick its gotta be good
it scares me to even think of 100:1 but i guess a lot of people do it

I don't mind seein the smoke out the back. It kinda reassuring, as then I know for a fact that I remembered to mix my gas. lol

I second that notion, I like the higher weight premix oils. I race one of my 2-stroke cross country, well used to ( recently bought a Raptor to replace it), and it makes me feel better with lots of oil in there plus I believe it makes more power to boot. I started this 2-stroke thing at 50:1 with modern synthetics, then 40:1, about a year ago I went to 32:1 and now have regressed to 28:1. Still very little smoke once the engine is warm and I've jetted the carb to a nice warm brown color; both my 2-strokes run great like this. I use Mobil One Racing 2T and Bel Ray H1R. I'm currently out of Bel Ray and bought a case of the Mobil One so I'll be on it for a while.

I run castrol 747 @ 32:1 on all my Hondas AND Banshee's
I also run high octane race fuel on my tuned Honda's just for safety, never had a problem in i don't know how many years.
Coincidentally Duncan Racing run 32:1 on all their race banshee's, this is also what they recommend when you buy a tuned 250r cylinder from them.

Well Im the guy too keep the flys away. I run my tecate on ultramar 2 stroke oil sold at every ultramar gas station at 20-1. I love seeing that blue aura around my bike. Plus it keeps tail gaters off.:naughty: :naughty:
I have been thinking of finding another oil. I was thinking of bel ray because of its avaliabilaty. Also ams oil as well. Also taking in consideration of price

Well in all of my 2 strokes i run yamalube R at 32:1 with premium pump gas. The only exception to this is my Tecate. I run good quality fuel, mixed with full synthetic Torco oil at 40:1. Runs amazingly clean, and very little smoke. The outlet of my silencer actually stays dry to the touch, with no black tar at all. Looks like a 4 stroke exhaust. The 330R we just built runs the same fuel, and were getting close to the same results. And we're still fat due to the poor weather.

I've been running yamalube R at 32:1 also for as long as I can remember and have never had any problems. Plus it's available at any yamaha dealer or even Rockymtn. I have used it in dirt bikes, 3-wheelers, jet skis and even my snowblower with no issues.

just about any dealer should have it but rocky mountain does for sure. it smells like bananas when it's unmixed and nitro fuel when it burns so cool.
