alright i have a few questions about restoring my 200x. i have gone threw and started sand blasting parts that were on the bike and i decided to sand blast the fork tubes as there was lots of rust on then and i also sand blasted the tripples stripping both to a ugly gray color. so what now? do i have to paint these now or can i polish them up with somthing?

New parts: I seen alot of guys finding new parts from other bikes to fit/modify theres. like for example the guy that put the shee axle on his triz. Does anyone know of any axles off of another bike to fit the 200x? (83-85)

Also does some one have all the fastner information on the 200x? theres a guy selling these kits on ebay but there way to expensive! i know you could prolly just go to a department store and get these cheaper then that no?

the axle .. all your going too get now a days is a dura blue 2+2 and you must use the 81-82 250r sprocket hub.. there around $450

bolt kit ..
ya you probley could get them cheeper but ..how long do you think its gonna take you to find all the correct lengths! thats a head ache I dont want to deal with! PLUS all the washers...that kit is nice..all labeled and no guessing..

theres no mod's for a shee axle to fit in a tri z,, there the same axle!

bite the bullet bro..
