Hi guys, I am new to the forum and looking to pick up a couple three wheelers for fun.
I was wondering if there are any spec sheets of the different models and what kind of upgrades were done over the years. It will help narrow the search. Something that explains the differences between the x, s, sx, e, r’s.
We had a 200s when I was a kid so I figured I would start looking at those, but I am also a speed junkie so I was looking at some of the faster ones too, so maybe a 250r.
I apologize if a list like exists, I did a few different searches and it really didn’t pull up anything.
Any advise would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Also looking for local people in the Metro Detroit area, and where you guys ride.

if you like speed your going to want a 250R for sure.
differences between the ones you have listed are too many to really tell but i can do a few for ya.
200s front suspension, semi auto trans, rigid rear end, no hydro brakes.
200x front and rear suspension, manual tranny, all hydro brakes, and a little more gitty up and go than the 200s
200e im not too sure about but im pretty sure it has no hydro brakes and is a auto tranny ? and is electric start.
250sx is also all cable brakes, front and rear suspension, shaft driven, and thats about all i know about them.
250R is a 2 stroke beast. depending on the year you get they are liquid cooled full hydro brakes, front and rear suspension, and full manual tranny.
im sure someone that knows allot more will chime in and shine more light on the machines for you. welcome to 3ww.

It really depends what type of riding you are planning to do. For trails/mud I would go with any of the Big Reds, the 250es has full suspension, reverse, electric start, plenty of power and fun as hell. If speed is what you want then a 250r, 350x, 200x would be the way to go. There are so many variables, manual clutch vs. semi-auto clutch, suspension, etc.

for speed, it depends on your riding style. for woods, a 350x wold suit you better than an R, but man you cant beat a 2 stroke if you know how to handle it.
200x is a nice entry-level race-type machine.

Yes, kind of!!!
Just started another search for a three wheeler.
Nothing seems close enough to impulse buy!

Get you a Honda 250 SX. Quick, powerful, great for trails, snow, and mud. Has reverse.
Welcome to the boards.......again!

You cant beat a 200x for an entry level trike and all around riding. Start there and once the sickness sets in you can add a 350X or 250R to the stable. All the others are ruff and good for the farm.

That's kind of what I am thinking. That and I have an eye on a couple 250sx.
There is a package deal for a couple nice ones on eBay... Both the 350x and 250r.
Wish I didn't have as many toys or I would go after those and be done with it.
