In the garage of a salvage yard there was a elsinore 50 on the " showroom" floor. If my memory serve me well it was red and white and it looked like a nice little motocross. Anyone got any info on these little bike? I'm just curious to know. Are they bikes rare?

the elsinore 50 was otherwise know as the mr50. They might be a little more uncommon now as alot were probably trashed and never fixed, but they were really popular at one time. They do make for some nice little projects. And parts are still out there and they had a crazy little aftermarket following.

Hey thanks Vealmonkey. One quick question, I didn't lose closely, are they 2 or 4 strokes? I googled it and the pics that came up were all red bike. The one I saw didn't have the honda wing on the gas tank, just elsinore wrote in 2 parts ( i think) anyone know the year it can be?
I don't know if this guy ask the big price for his bike, but I may ask him to buy a spare bike and who know, what he's asking for this little bike.

1974/75 two stroke manual clutch. They bring around $700.00 around here. I got a few new parts a few years ago when I was working on one. Piston, rings, coil and crank
seal.
