Couple newb 83 250r swinger ????

OK, I have a "new" 83 250r motor is good but bearings and swinger and couple of other things bad. I have fixed most of it but now I'm on the swinger it has been welded and the axle has a lot of play. So I got me an ebay swinger 84 model and I put new axle bearings in, the pivot bearings will NOT come out! I also noticed the shock extener is different from my 83. How much different is the 84 from the 83?? AND I can't get the pivot bolt out I have tried heat a hammer but still stuck. Any ideas?? My 83 has 2 holes on the shock extender and the 84 has 1??

I have the front bearings in and the stem bearings now. Still no luck on the pivot...

soak with PB baster over night, and the shock linkages are differnt from 83-84

yes the skids are a bit differnt new ones are avail through OMF

Is the OMF better than the PRM?
