Water in Rear Diff

Hey i was out riding yesterday and hit a huge hole in the water i was riding in and the three wheeler rolled and i got water into the rear differntial. it is draining right now. I am wondering what the best most effective way is to get all of the water out of there?

usually just drain and refill. then ride it a little bit to let it work around then drain it again. differential oil is not expensive and it only holds a cup or so. of course you could always spray some wd-40 or pb blaster in it to clean it out. there are probably a few methods.

is there any other oil or liquid i can use that will absorb water better?
