Getting there. Couple more days and she should be up and rippin again. WAY back in April of last year I tore it down to start the resto. I waited until I got my new KFX450R to do it. Well, I was so busy beating the snot outta the new one, I never got around to finishing this project. With race season just ahead, I figured I better get on it. Fresh PC on some, polished some other stuff, and had to settle for some good old fashioned SPRAY BOMB paint on the rest. (my buddy who was doing the PC has a new baby and I don't want to bother him for more precious time right now.)

Here's a few pics so far. Please don't bust on me about the mess in the garage. It is my new addition, and I haven't gotten to getting the wiring, lighting and nothing is organized. Soon as my T4 is up and running, I'll clean up everything, organize, run my wiring/lights and get things right!

Got it finished enough to take it to the 1st drag at a new track my buddy just built. ( http://www.helmanatvdrags.bravehost.com/ ) Ending up breaking it in at about 3am out on the back roads in the rain. The wet roads and the rain kinda sucked...all dirty, lol. Didn't get to ride it at all before the races so I didn't know what to expect. Hoped it would hold together and not be a pooch. Well, I am VERY pleased to report it really rips AND held up to some serious abuse. Corey Sprock did a fine job on the portwork and the bottom-end rebuild. I spent some hours matching up my powervalves, finishing off the intake areas and polishing the exhaust. I got a few more things to spend some time and money on....getting the pipe Jet-Hot coated ( http://www.jet-hot.com/snowmobiles.html )...new rear fenders (She is buying them for me....I won a bet with the wife who bet against me getting it up and running THIS year, let alone in a week for the drags!!!! Sucker!!!) new chain, front brake pads, graphics after I tear off the plastics and polish them up, rad shrouds need cleaned up and put back on, new rear wheels to mount up the matchings Holeshot SXs, new radiator hoses (blew one today lettin my friends rip it around) and a stainless bolt kit. Anyway, figured I'd snap a couple pics even if it is kinda dirty and dusty from the races and a has antifreeze dumped all over it. I'll try to get some action pics and a couple video clips here in the next week or so. Until then...here ya go.

So now for the big question..Which do you like riding more KFX450 or the Tecate 4? You are privilaged enough to own both!
