94 Honda CB1000F

anybody heard of these? good or bad?? looking at trading to get one. dude says it has 39K, runs good no problems.

Oh yeah, fairly rare naked bike. I liked them at the time, and still do, but apparently not to many other people did. I believe they were only offered 2 years and done away with. I love bikes like the 85-86 zl 900 Eliminator, V-Max, early V65 Magnas, 87 ZL 1000, and the CB 1000's. I bought a brand new 00 kawasaki ZRX 1100 and just sold it last spring. It was a super comfortable and powerful bike. Plus i love the naked bike/muscle bike look. Sadly it just became too risky to really enjoy riding on the street. I started street bike riding in 92 and finally decided to give it up. Soooooo many people over here now and i had some close calls with the idiots behind the wheel. Lots of great times though. 40,000 miles is high, but if it was ridden carefully and properly maintained it should be ok. You should be able to get it pretty cheap these days.
