Bought an 85 Honda 250 sx at a farm auction last fall, and although the engine and drive line were in good shape, almost everything else was bent, broken, cracked, or otherwise junk. I got it real cheap and started hanging out on ebay to get parts. The only thing left to do is powder coat the tank, and put new stickers on it. My grandson is riding it,and he always wears a helmet, but for the "photo-op" I let him take it off.

Thanks for the Helmet:beer Its been a fun project so far. Now, I'm kicking my self in the arse for selling my old race bike. An 86 250R with the engine done by Selvy's of Calif. I thought I was burnt out on riding, and it just sat in the garage. I put it up at the bike shop on consignment, and some farmer bought it! He brought it back in to the shop about a week later with the front end smashed all the way back to the foot pegs. Wanted to know if they could fix it, and make it not so fast:lol:

Only had to give $200 for it at the auction, but, it was in pretty sad shape. Thanks to Ebay, and an old racing buddy that owns his own shop now, we finally got enough parts to get it on the trails again.:)
