Sorry!!!More 200s Jetting Questions

Sorry for all the questions but am trying to tweek my newly purchased 200s. Looking at a jet kit from DennisKirk.com.......Is it worth putting - or can you put an 84 200X carb kit (bigger main jet and I think different taper on needle) in an 200s carb. I think that the 200s is a 22mm carb and a 200X is a 24mm but I'm not even sure if that would make that much difference or even matter.

i also have an 84 200s and from my experience you would be better off by just going to a larger jet size in the 200s carb or swithing it entirely for a complete 200x carb. i don't think the carb parts are interchangeable. better to keep the apples with the apples and the oranges with the oranges if ya know what i mean. i put a larger jet in mine few years ago with good results. it's been too long to remember what size but seems like it was only a couple of sizes larger. i have also heard that if you go to the 200x carb that you may want to put on a larger diameter pipe to help counter the added fuel flow. i have heard of people doing this with good results. hope this helps.
