My neighbor kicks ass!!!!! Auto-X build underway!

So my neighbor, a full time quad jockey is at a swap meet this morning. He got home about an hour ago with a 1984 ATC 200X. FOR ME!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Rear plastic is perfect (other than needing a wash) front fender cracked, engine is tore down from a rod disaster. All the parts are in the bucket to include a new crank, piston, pin, clips, gaskets, manual ....ect.

That is the funny thing Raffa. Vince has the only true "home" in the neighborhood. The previous owner of his house sold off the surrounding land. They built townhomes on all that land, and they are rentals......until a couple of months ago. The townhomes are now for sale. All 18 of them.

well the swap meet trike needs a left footpeg (missing) and the right fork (bent). That is all I could find wrong at this point to make it a rider. I'm going to get going on engine assembly today, as it is raining.

I nabbed a set of forks on flea-bay for $4.00 and 17.00 shipping :D I've got new seals ordered so I can do them as soon as they arrive.

I did get the engine assembled without any troubles at all, just need to drop some coin on all new bearings for the swinger assembly so it is right and tight.

this project is going a different direction. I just picked up an ATC 185 engine, carb, brake pedal, and gearshift lever.

Auto-X is underway!

Yes this X came with an engine. I have it built already waiting for a new home. :D

Me personally? Yes. My son who this trike is getting built for? Hellz no. This his next step-up from his ATC 70 that he is way too big for. It will be a good move for him. Plus I have a 85' 200X.

ohhh makes sense then. What are the fully suspended ATCs like? do they still bounce much over ruts? My mate has an LT160 which is suspended and he still bounces around over ruts

I wanted to hear the donor heart run, so I slapped a tank and some exhaust on it. I used a chunk of rope and a wrench for a pull cord, as I am still waiting the one I got off of ebay.

I am still waiting on the Delrin Swinger bushings, that is why it is in this condition.
