tri z idiot light..?

well, i wanted to ask you if the light should be staying on longer then a few seconds...is it the light checker box going bad or just the sensor itself? it stays on less then a min. once i give her gas shes fine...but then im worried about the overheating problem that may occur...so i like the light thing and the dealer doesnt stock them anymore...(sensor)so what can i use for its replacement? i know putting a guage inline will be better but when your ripping it up who has time too look down...i need all the help just looking forward...well taking her out tomarrow have to brake her in....and how do you guys do that?

it will glow when you first fire it ..theres a NOS sensor on ebay right now.. but they never go bad
do you still have the thermostat in it?

no thermostat in... it was bad....so do you think the checker box is bad then?
