I did this with a C clamp removing it from the head. Is this salvagable or did I ruin it? I'm thinking I ruined it.

you could file it down alittle, but i'd just replace it.

Yeah that valves pretty junk, doesnt look like theres enough material left to have it ground, Id just replace it, theyre pretty cheap anyway.

You can pick up a new set shipped for about 35$ from hyperparts.com, and they ship QUICK, and free stickers!! :D Cant beat that!!

wow wish i knew that before hand. i didn't want to go aftermarket because alot of people sell all 110 valves as being the same, when actually the later 84's and all 85's took completely different valves.
