Is this really whats its worth? Not busting on anyone more power to them if they can get it, buy a little paint, some bearings and just like that a 30.00 piece is 10X that, i may need to do that for a living. Would it really cost that much to make a half of a center case this nice? Does someone reproduce these or could it be NOS, they say its new? If NOS do you think 20+ years on a shelf would make the bearings junk? Just curious, TC...

they go for about that brand new from honda. Figure the bearings/seals are at least 50, plus add perfect mating surfaces and great looking oem paint, id buy new sets if i was going all out and didnt have any other options.

Thanks for the quick answer, they aren't worth it to me (just one is more than i'd want to pay for a bottom end that needs assembled) but if it is a true OEM unrestored piece its by far as nice as they come. I was just wondering if the guy was selling some cleaned up parts or the real deal, TC...

*edit* I guess that answers my bearing question as well, since they weren't sold with them installed.

thats not a bad price. The list price is something like $380. Btw, 85 and 88/89 cases are discontinued. Only 86/87 cases are available, those have the bearings and seals installed. 88/89 cases are bare, nothing, just the cases.

I agree here with deathman. That price is on par. Not to mention with bearings.
