I've worked on 3 trikes lately, including my BR, and all had the red wire that once held the main fuse, spliced straight through eliminating the fuse all together. During my rebuild, I wired the fuse back in line. The first time I fired it up after installing a new battery, the 20A fuse blew. It concerned me yet, I am not sure what I'm looking for. A shorted wire or defective electrical part ? I don't want to end up with a melted harness with it wired without fuse.
